Dark Corners

Dark Corners (a film by Charles Eddem) was filmed in Portugal and the UK.

Well I could say this movies was inspired by something profound and deep , but in all honesty,it began as a show reel.

​

After moving to Portugal, i found it difficult and expensive travelling to London for auditions. 

I decided to join casting agencies here instead. 

​

In doing so, i found the problem was , there was no local film makers or production companies to film my showreel.

​

So, I decided to get a few locals to help.

​

None of them, or, indeed us, had any film production experience, which made things extremely interesting to say the least at the start.

​

The idea for the movies was initially the showreel with an open conclusion. 

​

I was not happy with this , and as I now had a semblance of a crew, I decided to write a 5 part web series and thus began Blue Worm Productions.

​

From there, it evolved to what we now have.

​

All the characters were loosely based on people I have worked with and in so doing, cast them for the appropriate parts.

​

As the script evolved , I was extremely lucky to acquire some of the most amazing group of guys in the world who came on board. A director, D.O.P, Sound technician, and an executive producer.

All giving their times for nothing.

​

I was also able to bring in an old friend TONY MANDERS and his production company KERCHAK FILMS in the UK to film the UK episodes.

DARK CORNERS

Vince Thompson was a highly decorated Chief police constable in the UK. But dark deeds in his professional and personal life forces him to resign unceremoniously ( or was he pushed?) Deciding to move to Portugal to start a new life with his new girl friend proves to be the start of new adventures as his past life catches up with him and unearths the criminal underworld's wrath.
